First we visit French-owned Bodega Alta Vista, a winery specializing in terroir expression. Here we have a special tasting of their Grand Reserva, arguably one of the best Malbecs coming out of Argentina. Next we visit Bodega Achaval Ferrer, one of the first Argentine wineries to score highly in Wine Spectator. Here you enjoy a very special barrel tasting of each varietal that makes up their top blend Altamira. A visit and tasting session at Bodega Carlos Pulenta, a sleek, ultra-modern winery, is complemented by a gourmet lunch in their restaurant La Bourgogne (sister to the famous restaurant in Buenos Aires of the same name). The tasting includes their Corte B range.
